Research interests: My research is focused on three subareas of Dynamical Systems. Supported by the SFB grant "Discretization in Geometry and Dynamics", I am analyzing discrete fast-slow systems with non-hyperbolic singularities using the blow-up method. Continuing reasearch from my PhD thesis, I am working on problems in random dynamical systems, in particular (chaotic) random attractors and their parameter-dependent change (bifurcation). Furthermore, I am working on coagulation-fragmentation models in population dynamics and their analysis from deterministic and stochastic view points.
