Research interests: I am currently working on infinite-dimensional geometric singular perturbation theory and the consequences for fast-slow systems of partial differential equations. One aim is to provide tools for rigorous reductions of complex mathematical models in natural sciences with a special focus on climate science.

In a broader sense, I am interested in:
  • regularity properties and dynamics of evolution equations,
  • stochastic analysis in infinite dimensions,
  • model reductions in natural sciences,
  • tools from functional and harmonic analysis.
